We arrived exhausted and are leaving refreshed and ready for the autumn and all this thanks to Angie and Nigel. Thanks so much for the great welcome, beautiful gite, drinks, veg and chats. We had a great holiday in these lovely surroundings. All going to plan, we will be back next year.

Thank you for the welcome you gave us on our arrival and your hospitality during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble for you, from having us around for drinks, organising a vet for our dog, Nico, to taking us wine tasting.
The gite is immaculate, it is a credit to you both. It is warm and cosy, and is equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Another fabulous week at La Gachere. The house is beautiful and very well equipped. A great base for sightseeing, cycling, wine-tasting and visiting the beautiful chateaux of the Loire Valley. Our genial hosts, Angie and Nigel, made us very welcome as usual. Looking forward to our next visit already.

We have had a wonderful 5 days in this beautifully presented and appointed gite. Angie and Nigel have been wonderful hosts, welcoming and inviting, and thoughtful with their arrangement of (delicious) wine tasting at La Gachere, the vegetables and the toys for Thea (9 months). We have loved the quiet. We will be recommending your gite to friends with babies and hope to return.

Having stayed here this time last year and enjoyed the most wonderful few days, we decided to return this year and definitely haven't been disappointed. There is something very special about this place. The gite is so homely and comfortable and the surroundings are a joy to explore. Angie and Nigel are incredibly welcoming hosts. With two young children (aged 6 and 2) there was plenty to do - the local theme park is well worth a visit and highly recommended. We hope to return next year.

This place is truly amazing. We have really enjoyed our week in this beautiful gite. the area is great to explore by car or on foot. La Gachere had everything we could need to make us feel at home. Angie and Nigel you have been absolutely fantastic hosts, we are so looking forward to coming again.

Thank you for a great ten days in your amazing gite. You made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Even though we have been busy while here, we all feel recharged and ready to get back to normal life. Just what we needed after a hectic few weeks before hand!
We will definitely be recommending your gite and will be looking at returning. Thank you again for everything. Harrison will miss the cats!

We were greeted upon arrival at this beautiful gite by the owners who live in the farmhouse next door. It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, in excellent condition and to a high standard. We were even provided with some essential food items and a bottle of the local wine, to see us through the first Sunday evening and breakfast! We ate outside in the evening, making full use of the comfortable patio and barbecue. The gite overlooked a large front garden, with rose borders, a children's play area and productive orchard and vegetable area. Plenty of lawn for games, like badminton - all equipment provided. Surrounded by lovely vineyards, we were also treated to a wine tasting next door and bought plenty of wine to take home, at very reasonable prices. With excellent weather, the evenings were too warm, but the owners helped, providing us with a fan. There were plenty of quiet little villages nearby, with larger towns such as Thouars, Doué-la-Fontaine and Saumur nearby, with some excellent markets. We also spent a day on the coast at Les Sables-d'Olonne, about 90 minutes away. We would love to stay again.

Quite simply beautiful! Everything about this place is a haven for peace and relaxation. I will say no more as soon enough you will find that our for yourself. A huge 'thank you' to Angela and Nigel ... kind lovely people prepared to share the 'paradise' they have created.

A big thank you to the Denbys for an amazing two night stay. We could not have asked for a warmer welcome in such a beautiful location.

The accommodation was truly stunning. My family all mentioned it was the best two nights sleep we had ever had, so peaceful and quiet. The gite was better equipped than our home!

The children loved picking and eating the vast variety of fruit from your trees. We all enjoyed feeding the ducks and playing and relaxing in the grounds.

We will definitely be returning to stay next year and look forward to seeing more of the sites and countryside of the Loire.

We have had a lovely week staying here in this luxurious gite - it was brilliant to arrive somewhere so clean and immaculate - better than a hotel! You are perfect hosts and thank you so much for the excellent food and home-grown vegetables. We've enjoyed visiting the Argenton Vallee pool just a short drive away and also the many lovely chateaux in the area but mostly it has been fabulous staying somewhere so quiet and beautiful where we were able to truly relax! We hope to return to this gem!

The last week has been a fantastic experience. Love from us all.

We had a fabulous stay at La Gachere. The gite is finished to a high standard and is equipped with everything you would need. The surrounding area is beautiful and very peaceful. Right next door is a vineyard that will arrange a wine tasting for you. Eating out locally is very cheap - at the nearby village we had a three course meal of lovely rustic French food with bread and a bottle of wine for 11 euros each. We will definitely visit again.

We have had a fabulous week eating, drinking and chatting. We arrived stressed out and in dire need of some rest and l'Ecurie has provided that for us. For all your future guests this is a great place to stay and enjoy the surroundings. We will certainly be back again.
